Description
No. 4 Carlton Crescent is a building dating from around 1830. It is three storeys high and has a stuccoed exterior with a hipped slate roof. The building features a wide eaves cornice and a moulded string or flat cornice above the ground floor, which is supported by pairs of pilasters at each corner. In the centre, the cornice projects over the door, which is framed by four engaged Doric columns and has a blocking cornice above. The first floor has three sash windows, each with moulded surrounds. The doorcase contains plain double doors, with a niche on either side.
