Description
9 Carlton Crescent is a building dating from around 1830. It has three storeys and a basement, with the exterior finished in stucco and the ground floor featuring rusticated detailing. The facade has three bays, with the central bay projecting slightly. A parapet and moulded cornice conceal the roof, and there are end pilasters that rise to the full height of the building. The facade includes three sash windows, most of which still have their original glazing bars. Above the central window on the second floor, there is a decorative shell moulding. The entrance features a central round-headed doorcase, with the door accessed by steps that are flanked by niches.
