Description

56 Bedford Place is a building dating from around 1840. It is two storeys tall and constructed of yellow brick. The front features a semi-circular bow with two windows that contain sashes with glazing bars and are topped with dentilled cornices. A late 19th-century gabled rusticated attic storey has been added to the building. There is a single window wing on the right-hand side. The ground floor bow windows are fitted with Regency wooden blinds. The entrance is marked by a Doric portico supported by four fluted columns, and there is a later glazed door.
