Description
The former stable block, dating from the early 19th century, is located approximately 30 metres south of the Police Training Centre in Sulhamstead. It is constructed of white painted brick with stone dressings and features a hipped slate roof. The building has a shallow H-plan layout and is two storeys high. Notable architectural elements include a central weatherboarded arched bellcote topped with a pyramidal lead cap and weathervane. The windows are segmental headed glazing bar sashes, and there is a central arch with imposts and a keystone. This structure is included for its group value.
