Description
The stable block, now used as a residence, dates from the late 18th century and is located approximately 50 meters to the west of Wasing Place. It is constructed of grey brick headers and features a plat band at cill level, a parapet with stone coping, and a hipped slate roof. A central timber bellcote with a lead cap and weathervane adorns the roof. The building is one storey with an attic and consists of nine bays, with one bay set back to the right. The windows are glazing bar sashes with arched heads and Gothick glazing bars. The central entrance has a depressed arch with double boarded doors and a blank tympanum above. There are half-glazed doors in the third and seventh bays from the left, each with Gothick glazing bars in the fanlights above, as well as a similar door in the wing that is set back to the right.
