Description

Little Orchard is a house dating from the 17th century, with 18th-century elements and a mid-19th-century facade refurbishment. It is constructed of brick, timber framing with brick nogging and curved braces, and later brick facing, with an old tile roof. The house comprises two framed bays, with a two-bay framed wing projecting to the west and a later half-hipped wing projecting slightly to the southwest. The east front has three bays, featuring 19th-century casement windows. On the first floor, canted bays flank a central gabled porch containing a six-panelled door. A queen post truss is exposed in the gable end to the west.
