Description
The Old Vicarage is a house from the 17th century, constructed with a timber frame featuring curved braces in the end walls and brick nogging. It has a moulded wooden eaves beneath an old tile roof, which includes a central ridge stack. The building has an altered lobby entrance type and consists of two framed bays, with a small framed bay around the stack. It stands two storeys high and has leaded casements. The first floor has a central one-light window flanked by three-light windows, while the ground floor features two three-light windows, a two-light window to the left, and a boarded door to the right. There is a blocked central doorway with a carved lintel from the 17th century. Inside, the fireplaces retain 17th-century lintels with carved shapes, including lozenges and squares.
