Description
The Well House is a house located on the south side of The Street in Aldermaston. It dates from the 18th century and the mid-19th century. The building is constructed of white painted brick with a plinth and features an old tile roof. It has two gabled semi-dormers, each with 3-light casements. There is an end stack to the left and a ridge stack that is off-centre to the right. A gabled wing projects to the right, featuring an end stack made up of two diamond shafts on a rectangular base. The house is L-shaped and has one and a half storeys. The front facade includes two 3-light casements flanking a central half-glazed door, which is adorned with panelled pilasters that support a triangular pediment.
