Description
Barn End House is a farmhouse dating from the 17th century, with a 19th-century addition on the right and a circa 1930 addition on the left. The building is timber framed with brick nogging and features angled braces. It has an old tiled roof that is half-hipped to the left, along with two 20th-century semi-dormers, a central ridge stack, and an off-centre ridge stack to the right. The house consists of four framed bays and is two storeys high, with 20th-century leaded casements. On the first floor, there is a three-light casement to the left, and on the ground floor, there is an off-centre boarded door to the left, accompanied by a three-light casement to the left and a one-light casement, a two-light casement, and a three-light casement to the right. To the right, there is a one-storey addition that slightly projects, featuring one stack and four leaded casements.
