10/23 Radley Farmhouse (formerly listed under II Denford)

Farmhouse C17 with reputedly older core and C18 and 19 extensions. Brick extensions and render on brick and flint for C17 part, plain tiled roofs. T plan with C19 extension parallel to cross piece to east. One and a half storeys in older part, 2 storeys and attic in C19 extension. End chimney to east of C19 wing, central and end chimneys to west of older, south wing, three large cross gables on south elevation. South Elevation: west part C18 extension in brick with one gable and one glazing bar sash breaking eaves on upper floor and one large sash extending to ground on lower floor the rest C17 with 2 cross gables on either side of chimney each with glazing bar sash breaking eaves on upper floor, large gabled timbered C20 porch over central entrance flanked by large glazing bar dashes. Interior: one chamfered and stopped beam visible in kitchen to rear.
