Description

This is an 18th-century milestone located on the north side of Bath Road in Kintbury. The milestone is made of stone and has a square shape with the front corners cut away at the top, giving it a triangular appearance. The top is weathered. It is inscribed with "Newbury 6, Hungerford 3" on the upper faces and "London 62" on the lower face.
