Description
This milestone, dating from the 18th century, is located on the north side of Bath Road in Welford. It has a square base with a triangular upper section and a weathered cap. The upper faces are inscribed with "To Newbury 4, to Hungerford 7," while the lower face reads "To London 60." The milestone is made of painted stone.
