Description

This milestone, dating from the 18th century, is located on the north side of Bath Road in Kintbury. It is made of stone and has a square shape with the upper corners cut away to create a triangular plan. The top is weathered, and it features inscriptions on its faces: "Newbury 5, Hungerford 4" on the upper faces and "London 61" on the lower face.
