Description
Kintbury Park, formerly known as Kintbury Lodge, is a house dating from the late 17th century, with alterations and additions from the 18th and 19th centuries. The building features a combination of rendered brick and brickwork, topped with hipped tiled roofs. It consists of two parallel blocks, with the southern block being a later addition, and another addition at right angles to the west. The house is two storeys high with an attic.
On the north elevation, there are three square dormers, each with two-light casements that have arched gothic top panes. The first floor also has three similar two-light casements. The central porch, which is a 20th-century addition, is square and features three-light sashes with gothic arched glazing, all under label moulds. The east elevation reveals signs of earlier construction in the brickwork, including a stone moulded cap to the plinth.
