It features a wheel-head Calvary cross, with cross arms adorned with Celtic-style knotwork and a carved figure of Christ. The cross is mounted on a tapered shaft, which has an inscription on the front face in lead letters that reads: “WHO GAVE / HIMSELF / FOR ME” / IN PIOUS MEMORY / OF THOSE WHO / GAVE THEMSELVES / FOR THEIR / NATIVE LAND / 1914 – 1917 / (NAMES) / ON WHOSE SOUL / MAY THE LORD / HAVE MERCY AMEN. The back of the shaft includes the inscriptions: 1917 – 1918 / (NAMES) / 1939 – 1945 / (NAMES). The shaft stands on a hexagonal two-stepped base.
