Description
Croft Cottage is a cottage dating from the early 17th century, with additions and alterations from the 18th century. It features painted brick walls and an old tile roof that is hipped to the east and sweeps down over an outshut to the south. The cottage is one and a half storeys high, with an end chimney to the west and a central chimney located between the main building and the outshut to the south. There is a band at the first floor level.
On the north elevation, there are two gabled eaves dormers with decorative iron glazing bars. To the left, there is a small casement window with a cambered head, followed by a three-light central casement with shutters. To the right, there is a plain 20th-century casement and a two-light casement with shutters, all featuring decorative iron glazing bars.
