Description
The garden walls and gates at Barton Court, dating from the 18th and 19th centuries, are constructed of brick featuring grey headers and red stretchers, with weathered copings. Some sections are made of flint with brick bands and tile, topped with semicircular brick cappings. These walls enclose two rectangular garden plots. The west garden is bordered by 2 metre high brick walls with piers placed at 3 metre intervals, and it includes a single decorative iron pedestrian gate on the south side. The east garden has a 1.5 metre high wall made of flint and brick on the south side, also with a decorative iron pedestrian gate, while the north side features a 2 metre high brick wall.
