Description

This is an 18th-century milestone located adjacent to Denford Lodge on the north side of Bath Road in Kintbury. The milestone is made of stone and has a square shape with the front corners cut away at the top to create a triangular plan. It features a weathered top and is inscribed with "Newbury 7, Hungerford 2" on the upper faces and "London 63" on the front lower face.
