This milestone, dating from the 18th century, is located on the north side of Hungerford Bath Road, 200 meters east of Highclose Farm. It is made of stone and features a square base that tapers to a triangular top. The milestone is inscribed with the distances to Hungerford (1 mile), Marlborough (9 miles), and London (66 miles).
