Description

This is a row of four cottages located on the north side of the A419 in Chilton Foliat, dating from the 19th century. Cottages 76 and 77 are constructed from flint with brick detailing, while cottage 75 is a brick addition on the left and cottage 78 is a later 19th-century brick addition on the right. The cottages feature thatched roofs and are one storey with an attic, with each cottage consisting of one bay and a side passage. The doors are boarded, with cottage 77 having a late 20th-century door. The windows are leaded casements, with two or three lights, and the attic windows are set in steep pointed gables. There are stacks on the party walls.
