Description

The Stud Farmhouse is a house dating from the 18th and 19th centuries. It is constructed of red and vitrified blue patterned brick with a slate roof. The original main part of the house is two storeys high and three bays wide, with a later one-bay extension to the right. A six-panelled door, sheltered by a bracketed canopy, is centrally positioned in the third bay. A 20th-century canted bay window is located to the left, and a further window is present in the right extension. The remaining windows are 16-pane sashes. A brick stack is visible between the first and second bays, and another is on the right gable. The roof is half-hipped on the left side.
