Description
The Wheatsheaf Public House is an early 19th-century building that was originally a house. It features diaper brickwork combined with laced flintwork on its return and has a thatched roof. The structure is two stories high and consists of three bays. There are two half-glazed six-panel doors with bracketed pent roofs at the front. The building also has two late 19th-century canted and hipped bays. On the first floor, there are three-light segmental-headed windows, and a blue vitrified brick band runs along the first floor level. Gable stacks are present, as well as a stack located between the first and second bays. To the left, there is a rear wing from the early 19th century with two bays, featuring 12-pane and 20-pane sash windows.
