Description
These gate piers and overthrow date from the late 19th century and are located on the south side of Hungerford Road in Kintbury. The gate piers feature a moulded stone plinth and are constructed from brick with stone bands, topped with moulded stone corniced caps. Each square pier has fluted corners and is crowned by standing stone lions that wear crowns. The arched wrought iron overthrow is decorated with leaf ornaments and has a central shield adorned with a crown.
