Description
The gate piers and overthrow, dating from the 19th century, are located across the road adjacent to Inglewood Farm Cottage. The structure features brick piers with moulded stone bases and moulded stone corniced caps. These caps support capped stone urns adorned with swags on the sides. The wrought iron overthrow includes a central arch that is topped with leaf ornaments, a central shield, and a crowned lion. The overthrow is flanked by brackets that display the initials HJW and MGW.
