Description

The Manor House is a house that was rebuilt in the 18th century after an earlier structure was destroyed by fire, with some alterations made in the 20th century. It is constructed of brick and features hipped tiled roofs, forming a square plan with a double pitch roof. The house has two storeys and an attic, with a slight corbel at the eaves and a band at the first floor.

On the south elevation, there are three hipped dormers with 20th-century leaded casements, and three glazing bar sashes on the first floor. In the center, there is a re-set stone with a plain shield and the initials R C above a 20th-century glazed door, which is set in a re-set moulded stone surround dated 1574. This door is topped by a 20th-century flat hood supported by thin columns, and it is flanked by tall glazing bar sashes with slightly arched heads under brick arches that have painted keystones.

The east elevation features three irregular 20th-century sashes set in much patched and altered brickwork. To the right, there is a 20th-century glazed door in a re-set stone surround that has the initials A IC and the date 1602 on the lintel, all within a 20th-century doorcase that includes an open pediment and Tuscan pilasters.
