Description

The Yews is an early 18th-century house located in Hungerford Newtown. It features a hipped tiled roof with three hipped dormers and flanking chimneys, along with a coved eaves cornice. The building is constructed of grey brick with red dressings and a band at the first floor. It has two storeys and an attic, with five glazing bar sash windows that have cambered heads. The central door consists of four plain panels and is topped by a rectangular fanlight under a segmental hood, which is flanked by panelled pilasters. There are 20th-century brick pavilions on either side of the main building.
