Description
North Hidden Cottage is a cottage dating from the late 16th century and the 19th century. It features a thatched roof that is half hipped with a central chimney and additional chimneys located one bay from each end. The cottage has four large 20th-century dormer windows with thatch dressed around them. The structure is timber-framed with brick infill and includes brick extensions to the right and at right angles to the rear. The layout consists of, from left to right, one short bay, one long bay, a smoke bay, one long bay, and a brick extension. The cottage is 1½ storeys tall and has three irregular casements on the ground floor, along with a 20th-century boarded gabled porch over the door to the right and a casement window to the far right.
