Description

The Thatch is a cottage dating from the late 16th century, featuring one and a half storeys. It has a thatched roof adorned with three eyebrow dormers. The structure is timber-framed and plastered, showcasing stop-chamfered beams and arched wall braces. There are two ranges of 20th-century leaded casement windows. A red brick chimney stack from the 16th century includes original back-to-back fireplaces, while there is an additional 18th-century stack to the right. A 20th-century thatched porch has been added, and the frame is exposed internally.
