Description
The Rectory is a house dating from the mid-18th century, with an early 19th-century recessed extension on the right. It has two storeys and hipped roofs on both the main building and the extension. The main structure is clad in plain red tiles, while the extension features grey slates. The house is built of red brick throughout, with a central raised brick bond.
The front elevation has a window arrangement of five small-paned sliding sashes on the first floor and two long small-paned casements on the ground floor, along with two matching sashes in the extension. There are five steps leading up to the central six-panelled door, which is flanked by fluted pilasters and topped with an open pediment canopy. Each end of the hipped roofs has a red brick rectangular chimney stack.
