Description

The barn located southwest of Monksbury Farmhouse dates from the 17th century or earlier. It is a timber-framed aisled barn featuring arched braces to the aisle posts. The roof is covered with plain red tiles and has a half-hipped design. There are off-centre midstreys, and the barn is primarily weatherboarded, with some areas rendered.
