Description
The Malt House, formerly known as Old Brick Maltings, is a house that was originally a maltings building dating from the late 16th to early 17th century. It is two storeys high and has an L-shaped layout with a hipped plain red tiled roof. The structure is constructed of red brick and features a range of six assorted small paned casement windows, along with three square wooden doors on the first floor. There are also two square 20th-century red brick chimney stacks and two 'S' tie beams. Located by the pond and facing the church, this building is an important part of the village green.
