Description

Maltings Cottages are two cottages dating from the 17th century. They are one storey with an attic and feature four gabled dormers. The cottages have a plain red tiled side purlin roof and are constructed from timber framing with plaster. There is a 20th-century extension at the rear. The front has a range of four small paned casement windows and two enclosed gabled porches. Additionally, there are two attached square red brick chimney stacks. Locally, these cottages are believed to be the site of a marriage feast room.
