Description
This is a 17th-century threshing barn located approximately 50 metres southeast of Manor House in Hampstead Norreys. The barn features a brick plinth and a timber frame that is weatherboarded, topped with an asbestos half-hipped roof. It has five bays with aisles on both sides and a central waggon entry that also has an old tiled hipped roof. Inside, the barn has queen post roof trusses, double clasped purlins, constant principal rafters, straight braces, and jowled posts. The barn is included for its group value with the nearby Manor House.
