Description
Wyld Court is a large country house that was originally built in the 18th century and later extended in the 19th century, with further alterations made in the mid-20th century. The house is constructed of brick and features an old tile hipped roof. It stands two storeys high with attics and has six large chimneys with offset heads. The first floor has a string course and raised brick quoins. The main front of the house consists of five bays, with a six-panelled entrance door located second from the right, which is adorned with an architrave, carved brackets, and a shell hood. There are 20th-century flanking wings designed in a similar style, as well as 20th-century hipped dormers that include leaded casements.
