Description
The Grange Wing Cottage is a former vicarage that has been divided into two houses. It dates from the 18th century and was extended in the 19th century. The building is constructed of brick and features hipped roofs covered with old tiles at varying heights. It has an irregular plan, with the Wing Cottage being a 19th-century addition to the north.
The structure is two storeys tall and includes a modillioned eaves cornice. There is a chimney on the flank wall of Wing Cottage and a prominent central chimney on the southeast front of The Grange, which has a pediment at the eaves level from which a large stack rises.
The southwest front has three bays with sash windows that have glazing bars, set in raised brick eared surrounds. The upper windows feature small aprons made of darker brickwork. The central entrance door has six panels, with the top panels being glazed. It is framed by an architrave and a cornice hood supported by carved brackets, with a frieze located between the brackets.
