Description

Manor Farmhouse is a farmhouse that dates back to the 16th century, with later refacings and additions from the 18th, 19th, and 20th centuries, including a large wing added to the north in the mid-19th century. The building is primarily timber framed, with some later brick refacing and additions, and features a plat band. It has an old tile roof with a catslide over an outshot to the east and three gabled projections to the west, with the north-west projection being half hipped. There is an off-centre ridge stack to the left and a stack at the rear. The structure is likely a hall house consisting of three framed bays with later additions, and it has one storey and attic as well as two storeys and attic.

On the west front, there is a projection to the left with a ground floor glazing bar sash, a first floor blank glazing bar sash, and a two-light attic casement. A six-panelled door with glazed upper panels is set back to the right, with a small 20th-century leaded casement above. The central gabled projection features a ground floor 19th-century half glazed door set back to the right, with a two-light casement above. The gabled projection to the right has a ground floor two-light casement and a small two-light attic casement. Inside, the roof timbers are smoke blackened.
