Description

The Old Vicarage is a house dating from the early 18th century. It is constructed of grey brick with red dressings and features a giant order of rubbed brick Doric pilasters that have moulded capitals and no entasis. The building has a moulded brick eaves cornice and an old tile hipped roof, which is topped with a triangular pediment over the central bay and has a stack at the rear. The house is two storeys high and has three bays, with glazing bar sashes that have exposed wooden boxes, segmental heads, and half-H shaped rubbed brick aprons. The central entrance consists of a six-panelled door with a plain surround and a rectangular radiating fanlight above.
