Description
No. 185 Kings Road is a Grade II listed building that dates from after 1832 and is part of Waterloo Place. This two-storey structure is constructed of rendered Bath stone and features a plain front with a string course at the first-floor cill level. The building has a flat eaves cornice and a slate double ridge roof with end gable brick chimneys that have moulded stone capping.
At the center, there is a gabled projection with an arched door and fanlight, which is sheltered by an arched porch accessed by steps. The first floor has three glazing bar sash windows. There are lower two-storey wings on either side, which have a parapet and hipped roof; the left wing features a round-headed window on the first floor, while the right wing has garage doors. Additionally, the central first-floor window is adorned with an open pediment supported by console brackets.
