Description

This two-storey house on Eldon Road dates from before 1840 and was likely designed by Nathaniel Briant as part of a family property development. The exterior is stuccoed, with channelled details to the ground floor and a band above that level. The front features three windows on the first floor and two on the ground floor, all with glazing bar sashes. A central doorcase, originally a window, is now pedimented and features modern applied pilasters. Steps lead up to the front door. Garage doors have been inserted into the basement on the left-hand side. The roof is hipped and slate-covered, with flat eaves.
