Description

Elibank House is a two-storey house located on the north side of Spinners Walk, dating from around 1840. The building is faced with stucco and features a three-bay front that is highlighted by pilaster strips and a band at the first-floor level. It has a low hipped slate roof with flat eaves. The façade includes three windows with recessed glazing bar sashes. On the ground floor, there is an enclosed stucco porch on the right side, which has round-arched side lights, a cornice, and a blocking course. The return side of the house has three windows, with the centre window being blind and only quoin pilasters visible. The ground floor windows have architrave surrounds adorned with a simple geometric pattern and cast iron balconettes.
