Description

This is a pair of houses, numbered 22 and 23 Trinity Place, dating to circa 1840-50. They are similar in style to numbers 16 and 17 on the same street. The houses are three storeys high and constructed of stock brick, with steep, paired gables. Each front has one window, set within a slight central break, featuring marginal glazed sash windows with stucco architrave surrounds. The entrance bays are set back, with a three-storey bay to number 23. Numbers 1 to 23 (inclusive) together with Holy Trinity Church form a group, as do numbers 1 to 10 (inclusive) on Claremont Road.
