Description
10 and 11 Bellevue Terrace are two terraced houses, now functioning as two restaurants with flats, dating from the early 19th century. No. 10 is constructed of red brick in Flemish bond, with its ground floor painted, while No. 11 is finished in stucco. Both buildings feature a hipped plain tile roof, with a brick stack on the right side of No. 10 on the rear pitch. They stand three storeys high with a basement and have two wide bays arranged 1:1.
No. 10 has a 20th-century glazed door with an overlight set within a moulded architrave surround on the left side. No. 11 features a recessed 20th-century door to the left, with panelled reveals, flanking pilasters, a panelled frieze, and a shallow pediment. To the right of No. 10 and the left of No. 11 are two 2-storey tripartite shallow bay windows, one on the ground floor and one on the first floor of each house. Each bay window has a central 12-pane sash flanked by 8-pane sashes, with plain strips dividing the sashes and moulded modillion cornices above. On the second floor, each bay window has a 2-light transomed casement. The buildings also feature a dentil brick band course, stone coping, and a coped parapet. The interior has not been inspected.
