Description

WHIPPINGHAM ROAD 1. 5270 East Cowes The Queen's Alcove SZ 59 NW 5/129 II 2. 1869. A semi-circular roofed alcove situated on the beach facing the sea. Cemented having wooden roof with bracketed eaves. It has a half-dome over it lined with blue tiles, a mosaic floor and a wooden seat supported on cast iron dolphins.
