Description

The East Cowes Museum, located on the Osborne Estate, is a single-storey Swiss-style building constructed between 1845 and 1850. It is made of tarred wood and features a half-hipped roof covered with curved tiles. The building has six casement windows with shutters and a simple doorcase. It was originally built to house the royal children's archaeological and anthropological collections.
