Description
Nos 18 to 22 on Nelson Street, built around 1830 to 1840, form a small, simple terrace. The buildings are two storeys high and faced with stucco, featuring a cornice and parapet. The central house is slightly taller, creating a focal point, and has a band between the storeys. Each house has one window. On the first floor, Nos 18 and 22 have bay windows, while No 20 features a flat fronted bow window, all with three lights each. No 18 has sash windows with glazing bars, pilasters dividing the lights, panelled aprons, a frieze, and a cornice that slightly projects at the centre of No 20. The ground floor windows are recessed sash windows with block sills, although glazing bars are only intact on No 18. Each house has a round-headed doorway with a semi-circular fanlight.
