Description

14 Nelson Place is a house dating from around 1810 to 1820, making it one of the earlier buildings in Ryde. It is constructed of grey headers with red brick dressings and features a band between the storeys. The house has a low-pitched hipped slate roof with shallow eaves cornice. There are three recessed sash windows, although the glazing bars are only partly intact, and they have block sills. The central panelled door is recessed and was formerly flanked by pilasters with a flat hood above.
