Description

This is a late 16th-century house located on Union Street. It is similar in design to the neighbouring properties but sits on a slightly lower elevation. The first floor features two flattened bow windows, each containing three lights with pilasters separating the lights and a cornice above; these windows lack a pediment. A central sash window is flanked by pilasters and a cornice supported by consoles. The original glazing bars remain above the ground floor. A shop front was added in the 19th century. The house is part of a group that includes numbers 1 to 13 and number 15 on Union Street.
