Description

This is a late 16th-century timber-framed house, located at 5 and 7 Fisher Street, and altered in the 18th century and subsequently. It retains the overhang of its first floor, supported by a moulded bressummer and bracket. The ground floor is rendered, while the first floor is roughcast. The house is two storeys high with an attic, and has two windows. It features a gable with an attic window. The first floor has sash windows with intact glazing bars; a more modern window with Regency-style glazing is below. Nos. 1 to 33 (odd numbers) on Fisher Street, together with Nos. 7 to 13 (odd numbers) on Church Street, form a group.
