Description

No 9 Fisher Street is a late 16th-century timber-framed house that was refronted in the 18th century. It retains the overhang of its first floor supported by a bressummer and a bracket. The building has two storeys and features two windows. The ground floor is now covered in stucco, while the upper floor is finished in red brick. The lower part of the roof is hipped, with a gable set back behind it at the top. The windows are sash style, with those on the first floor having cambered head linings. This property is part of a group that includes Nos 1 to 33 (odd) and Nos 7 to 13 (odd) Church Street St Clement.
