Description

20 Fisher Street is a 19th-century red brick building that stands two stories tall and features a tiled roof. The left wing has one window with glazing bars that create four squares. The main elevation is highlighted by a semi-circular brick arch. The entrance consists of a fielded door with flush panels and a bottom bead. There are two pairs of windows with intact glazing bars. A mid-19th-century gas lamp, still in working order, is attached to the building on a bracket. This lamp is designed with a square plan lantern that is larger at the top than at the bottom, adorned with anthemion foliage at each corner of the sloping roof, and it terminates in a bell-shaped vent with a scalloped cap and finial. The buildings numbered 14 to 20 form a cohesive group.
